I can swim but only just and have very low confidence in the water. However, Carrine is incredibly encouraging and supportive and 5 weeks in I can see the difference. I would highly recommend to anyone whatever level, its great coaching at all levels for anyone looking to improve.

An Absolutely amazing group session this morning (30.09.23) with Carrine at Pool Bridge Farm, Carrine was exceptionally knowledgeable and reassuring as it was my first open water experience. I would definitely recommend the introduction to open water swimming with Carrine to gain an understanding of open water swimming and build confidence.

Carrine has literally changed my life. I love open swimming but have /had crippling anxiety about being out of my depth or putting my face in the water following a traumatic childhood experience. I didn't learn to swim till I was 14 and my skills were limited to the breast stroke. I met Carrine at an open water venue and had a chat about my fears. She gave me lots of advice and made me feel at ease. A few weeks later I decided that at the age of 42 it was time to combat those fears. I got in contact with Carrine who remembered our conversation and we discussed my goals and all the options available. By the end of the first session I was putting my face in the water and this week (session 4) I'm on my way to doing the front crawl ! This is all owning to Carrine's fantastic teaching style. She is extremely knowledgeable, supportive, patient and kind. I would highly recommend Carrine to anyone.

I had a 1:1 hour open water swim lesson with Carrine. My objective going in was to improve my confidence leading into my first triathlon. I’m fairly fit and by no means a beginner at swimming generally but swimming in open water and in a wet suit was new to me. Carrine is clearly incredibly experienced and knowledgeable and combines this with a “spot on” demeanour that shows you she is listening, cares about your goals and yet can also push you to do more. I couldn’t recommend her highly enough whatever your performance goals and I’m looking forward to joining future sessions with her to improve my technique and fitness.

By far the best coach out there! I started my running journey during lockdown with no idea what I was doing and no motivation to maintain running - it was a way of losing weight at the time. Three years later Carrine has coached me through developing stamina, enhancing muscle and punching my way through that mental barrier. From a beginner to running my first marathon this year and I wouldn’t have done it without the help of Carrine. She is a truly inspiring woman. The most caring, understanding coach who always makes sure everything is tailored exactly to the individual. Not just a coach but now a friend. Recently started SwimRun. I’m a fairly slow breast stroke swimmer and booked a 1-1 coaching session with Carrine to gain confidence swimming with running shoes and to improve technique. Carrine was very astute at observing existing technique and teaching improvements in a really easy to understand way. Carrine ensured I felt very at ease during the session and that I was picking up coaching tips effectively. Just a one hour session with Carrine has helped me to improve my technique to such an extent that even whilst wearing running shoes I’m now over 3 mins quicker on a 300m lap than I was before coaching.
